For the past 15 years, Brian Hall from EOS Training Academy has organised a unique safari trip to the Maasai Mara in Kenya with our good friend and Canon Ambassador Jonathan Scott, one of the world’s leading wildlife photographers.

jonathanscottIt's a unique EOS experience as it's based entirely around wildlife photography with Canon cameras and provides intensive dawn-to-dusk safari excursions every day, while staying at the luxurious Kicheche camp situated in the picturesque Acacia Valley in the Mara itself. With a maximum of four or five photographers in each large four wheel drive vehicle, everyone gets unlimited viewing and the opportunity to shoot great wildlife images. Both Jonathan Scott and Brian Hall are with you throughout the trip to provide advice and support for your photography and your EOS camera set-up.

It’s a small, intimate group – just 14 photographers – so there is plenty of time for individual tuition and advice. The trip is organised through Exodus Travels with whom we work closely and are experts in this type of travel.

IMG 3267asmallThis is not a restful holiday by any means! It’s non-stop photography and even when we stop for breakfast and lunch while out on safari we always try to find picturesque locations with more wildlife to see and photograph.

This year’s trip, in October 2017, is nearly full, but there is still time to join – there's just one space left (female only) for those seeking adventure and the wildlife photography opportunity of a lifetime. The tour in October 2018 is booking up fast too, with seven spaces already taken.

For more details about the trip call Brian Hall on 07810 551662 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

And the rest of the group? Most of this year’s EOS adventurers have been at least once, twice or more, which shows how popular and special this safari is.
