Course bookings – Coronavirus outbreak
Advice and precautions

Updated 27 May 2020

It is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to extend the postponement of courses into July and August 2020 in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.

We have a responsibility to you, your fellow photographers as well as to our tutors – to keep you and your families safe.

Most of our venues are currently closed. Most don't know when they will reopen. Even when restrictions do start to be lifted, it's going to take some time for them to be able to adapt to new measures. The venues that we use for practical courses will have strict limits on visitor numbers, which may cause problems.

Additionally, because of the nature of our training courses – where there's inevitably close proximity between you and your tutor as you receive help with camera settings – it's difficult to envisage how social distancing can be implemented whilst still delivering the level of training and personalised tuition that we pride ourselves on.

We are constantly reviewing the situation, as well as the current Government advice and restrictions.

Existing bookings

If you have booked onto an affected course, we have already contacted you with next steps. Please contact the office on 01869 331741 if you have any queries and to discuss transferring your booking or putting it on hold.

You will get priority booking once courses start to run again and will have first refusal on any new dates or venues.

New bookings

If you decide to book onto a course later on in the year, we have suspended our existing cancellation and transfer policy until further notice, to ensure that everyone has maximum flexibility in these uncertain times.

As always, we advise that you do not book accommodation or make travel arrangements until the course is confirmed as going ahead.
